We All Scream For Ice Cream!

We are almost all moved into our place, we finally got a dresser, some new plants, our mini fridge. We are still waiting on a new bookshelf and futon to complete our living room, and Colin's desk for our bedroom. Mugwomp will be our latest addition to the roomies later tonight. Upon moving in, we've been enjoying our 'porch' (its basically a roof where we can sit on). Its so hot in our house since we have no air conditioning and so we spend a lot of time out there. The other day we had just finished our homemade macaroni and cheese with our Italian salads when we heard something. It was a faint song in the distance, we perked our heads up and looked down our street trying to find where the song was coming from. As it grew louder our eyes widened to the familiar song..."Its a world of laughter, a world of tears...". Quickly I ran inside, grabbed my purse, a plastic bag full of quarters, and ran outside to see the Ice Cream man pull up in his white truck. The familiar stickers of the ice cream picks, littered the side of the truck. I chose the strawberry shortcake, and Colin got a watermelon snow cone, each was $3 (I swear the prices of ice cream have gone up). We ate them on our roof and enjoyed our delicious ice cream. One fun adventure of many more to come.
