Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2

Basically the 97% on Rotten Tomatoes says it all..."Thrilling, powerfully acted, and visually dazzling, Deathly Hallows Part II brings the Harry Potter franchise to a satisfying -- and suitably magical -- conclusion."

Meaghan and I got to see the midnight showing. It was a blast, it honestly felt like a carnival! All the people dressed up, rock climbing wall, DJ playing and various booths of magical things. The movie was amazing and it was so nice spending time with Meaghan.

Ben & Meggie's Wedding

It's true, I have a new sister in-law! In fact she is the first sister in-law I have and it works out well that I absolutely love her! Weddings can be stressful but it seemed like Meggie and Ben handled everything very well. It was beautiful and so much fun.

The Day of the Wedding:
We all drove to Meggie's grandparent's cabin in Fairview, Utah. Colin and I decided to spend the night in a hotel in town so we weren't extra people in the Cabin. Since all of mine and Meggie's family were spending the night after the wedding. We checked into our hotel and then headed up the windy canyon road to the cabin. It was beautiful. I was snapping pictures as Colin was ooing and awwing at the scenery. As we drove up to the cabin most of the people were already there. We helped set things up, gather chairs and entertain children, along with getting ready for the ceremony. Once we were all in our seats the wedding presided. It was a beautiful ceremony and both Meggie and Ben looked amazingly beautiful. There was a lunch-in afterwards full of delicious vegan food. 'Chicken' salad, 'tuna' garbanzo bean salad, veggies, vegan bread, fruit, and salad. I ate way too much. Then we had cake!! Vegan cake, yummy yummy vegan cake. There was vanilla, chocolate and carrot. We spend the rest of the day exploring the property and finding beaver dams, searching for frogs and playing Plants vs Zombies in the Ipad.

The Day of the Reception:
Meggie and Ben wanted a small wedding with just family and a larger reception for more friends and family. Smart move, and Meggie got to wear her wedding dress twice! It was at a neighbours house in Alpine with a beautiful backyard and again delicious vegan treats! Once again I ate way too much. Colin and I got ready and picked up the cupcakes from City Cakes in Salt Lake. It was so much fun just hanging out and seeing my family! Literally all my family! Including Becky's family from California, Daddy from Canada and my Aunt Ginny & Kathy from Logan.

So there you have it! A new family member and awesome weekend where I ate too much...For more wedding details visit Meggie & Ben's Blog.
